Following the closure of Interactive Software Services Ltd., Winteracter has moved to this site, where it is now made available on a wholly non-commercial and voluntary basis. Winteracter will be updated occasionally, to maintain compatibility with new compiler or operating system releases and (where possible) to fix bugs. New features may be added from time to time, depending on continued interest.

Only the latest version will be available here. Old versions will not be maintained or offered for download.

Version 16.10 is the first non-commercial release, available here. This can be downloaded and installed by anyone who holds an up-to-date licence for the last commercial version of Winteracter (i.e. v16.0).

A significant new feature of this site is the Winteracter Forum, where current licence holders can ask questions about using the package and exchange views with fellow users. This is intended as the first port of call for technical support issues. However, limited email technical support will also be available, on a "no guarantees" voluntary basis, to users with a current licence. Use of the latest version, as offered via this site, is a condition of email support.

Anyone interested in contributing code or documentation to Winteracter is welcome to do so. These will be posted on the user-contributed code page or included in the Winteracter download. Either way, full attribution will be provided for such contributions. The Forum can be used to discuss these or they can be submitted to the email address given on the support page.
