The forum login and download licence credential forms have been unified into a single sign-in page which acts as a site-wide login. As before, sign-in credentials are your serial number and licence ID, as provided in your licence email.

The unified sign-in eliminates the need for valid licence holders (v16.0 or later) to enter licence credentials at every download, for as long as you remain signed in. Enabling the "keep me signed in" option when signing in can be used to ensure that you will not need to re-enter your credentials at your next site visit.

A Sign in link now appears at the top right of each page, replaced by a user identification (user name or serial number) once signed in. The latter acts as a link to your user profile, where your user name can be updated. The user name identifies you, if you post in the forum. The profile page also lists forum topics in which you have posted most recently (if any), along with a sign-out option.

The Forum option on the main menu now leads directly to the forum's topic list, rather than prompting to sign in or "continue as guest". To post in the forum, simply ensure you are signed in to the site using the mechanism described above. The forum itself includes multiple links to the Sign in page.

Unification of the sign-in procedures also means that unsupported licenceA licence issued since the release of v17.0. holders can now post in the forum.
