Split Window

Windows can be split into multiple panels. Each sub-window can be any one of several types: a text editor, a standard graphic output window, a grid window, a dialog, a bitmap viewer or an OpenGL output window. These are available in any combination, as illustrated by the screen shot above, which consists of a dialog, graphics window and editor. Each sub-window can itself be split, allowing a wide variety of possible window layouts.
